Baby Macie, a lifestyle newborn session

Welcome to my very first blog post!  I’ve been wanting to do this for quite some time but it just never seemed to happen.  I can’t promise I will keep up with new posts but my goal is to publish one monthly if not weekly.

I can’t think of a better first post subject than a brand new family-addition lifestyle session.  I had the privilege of being invited into this family’s home to photograph their week-old baby girl.  She is their 3rd and final addition.  The goal was to capture the new family dynamics that so quickly fade from memory with the busyness of everyday life.  We documented her nursery, some of her very first family interactions, and even her very first bath (which took place in the kitchen sink!).  Here are some of the highlights captured in this session:
